It'd be my favorite album if it weren't for MCIS, then again they're two totally different sounding albums. Pisces is the only album that I wouldn't mind stealing the fuzz guitar sound it has. It's so sweet.

One of those albums you can stick in your car and leave it in there for a week and not get sick of it.

I remember seeing them in 93 at DC show, when they played pissant, frail and bedazzled, funny thing is we listened to pissant on the way, someone had cherub rock single so we listened to that and gish on the way, even though siamese had just came out months earlier. Pisces was awesome the next year 94 when we were waiting for some new stuff from the pumpkins, I had heard most of the tunes already as b-sides, but remember saying frail and bedazzled, that was that tune we heard last year at the concert. I also remember loving plume alot back then. Now I throw it in rotation occasionally, but I definately want new pumpkins and with plenty of live stuff available now, I find myself listening to live stuff alot.

Even though Pices isn't a full fledged album, I still see it as one. I love most songs on there. There are a few that I'm not in love with, but most of them are great. Pices would be one of my favourites

Christ, Pisces Iscariot is a great album. Right down to Spaced, which I think is very goddamn underrated. Plume has one of my favorite solos in all of music, Obscured is floaty and summerish, Pissant blowz on the non-believerz onto the fucking floor and cutz em up into a million little peices (many people attribute that to Hello Kitty Kat but I prefer Pissant). Starla is fucking awesome with its strangled guitar solos BLARRRRWARAWARWRAWRARWAHHAHAHHAHHA. Blew Away is the best James song and probably the only one worth any praise. Whir is very chill and it's all just right as rain!

Pisces totally isn't underrated. I think it's rated just right. Just about every SP fan loves it.

right on geek, even people who don't know the pumpkins ask what is this song, back in 94 anyways, b-sides to me were always some of the best work.

That used to be one of my least favourite tracks ever, but just last night... Idunno, I had an open-minded listen to it, and it seemed really emotional to me. Kind of like a very stripped-down version of Soma, with a simple drearily-toned piano motif.

I've always absolutely loved every track from Lucky 13 to Marquis in Spades.

i was the same way when it came to soot and stars. it was just very monotonous to me... but over time it began to grow on me and i think i finally "got" it.

i think my favs off of the whole disc are because you are and winterlong. (i wont count marquis in spades since it was released with TAFH).

i go in and out of liking that song, but i mostly like it. it reminds me of Sonic Youth. and it does sound great with headphones.
