Hey guys!
OK I know most of us are apathetic radio listeners when we do. But when I'm driving through rush hour traffic if I get tired of the music I have on hand I'll scan the stations to see if anything interesting is on and today I was doing just that and what did my little ears hear? No really...yep it was G.L.O.W. on Phoenix radio. YAY!
So I started thinking (uh oh that's always a frightening thing) even if we aren't big listeners of radio we could still try to get SP and G.L.O.W. on a higher rotation. In my thinking that means more SP music out there. I mean if the public is adoring then the industry is adoring and then the artist has a wider venue and thus the artists listeners have more music and the cycle continues. *laugh* I know my process is usually flawed in some way but still it would be great to be able to help SP get the kudos they deserve.
In addition it may make a bit of a change in radio. Maybe if we let them know what we are interested in listening to and suggest it...ummmmm say 50 times each there may be some sort of move. I know I'm pretty idealistic...can't help it...that's just who I am.
Well OK just a suggestion *laugh*.
We can put links to the request pages of local radio stations here so that it is easy for anyone that might have the inclination and a couple of free seconds the choice to spend those couple of seconds getting SP out there or checking your belly button for lint or what have you.
