No, Blank would win that.
Nah, it definately is "Tonite Reprise".

Hmm...its a hard choice indeed, since they have such a large library of music. I would have to break it down into parts.
Most "Angry" Emotionally Sung : I would have to say X.Y.U.
Most Soothing Emotionally Sung: For me it's either Today, or Drown. Hard for me to decide, his voice is very calm in the Gish and Siamese Dream era.
Most Happy Emotionally Sung: Lily (My one and only)
Most Sadening: For Martha, the entire song really touches me!

I'll need to think of a signature....hmm...

I kind of feel there's a difference between "best sung" song (as in technical prowess, which even as Pumpkins fans we can admit he doesn't have a lot of) and the best conveyance of emotion.
For prowess, I vote "To Sheila" or "Crestfallen."
Best delivery, though, is totally "For Martha." Goosebumps every time. I think it also helps that we know this song is dedicated to his mum. Awwwww.
Notice all my picks are from "Adore," the album he actually received vocal lessons for. They paid off, Mr. Corgan!

Yes, I agree with you! Adore era songs are just beautiful and I think "To Shelia" is the best on a technical aspect, and "For Martha" wins hands down for the emotional content.

The Last Song.
Billy even said that's the most emotional song he ever recorded.

agreed as well. with so many different types of songs in the pumpkins' catalogue, its hard to define "best sung song." however, i agree that Adore is one of those albums that has a lot of great songs that play to the strengths of billy's voice.

Once in a while is the goddamn best sung song.
Cuz he's all like scratchy and worn out and the lyrics compliment it.
Granted, that style of voice probably wouldn't work for most of his other songs, but that is my favorite Billy performance.
