After reading lots of comments on the forum it got me thinking.
Exactly who listens to the Pumpkins these days?
I guess it's kinda dumb of me to assume that you are all late 20's - 40 and have been a fan for years.
So the question is. How old? How long?

Wow. That's so great to see!
I hope you don't think that I would look down at you or anything for being new to the Pumpkins. Quite the opposite, I think it's fantastic.

Im 17 years old, and been a fan for about 4 years. Although im sure i was a fan since i was around 95' or so because my parents were into the Pumpkins (especially Mellon Collie and Adore) a bunch back then and i kind of remember hearing some Pumpkins along with the other 90's music. Hahaha... i dunno...

15 Years old here. I have been a fan since I was 2, so that makes 13 years. I have vague memories. But at the time all I could remember was this "space" theme for the album and this one song I really liked, because of this noise that kept coming up in the song. I would later learn, when I got older, that the band was the Smashing Pumpkins! And the album was Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. The song was 1979 that my dad knew I liked to listen to. I also remember vaguely looking through my sisters CD's when I was really young too...and I saw the name "Smashing PUmpkins". The images I remembered were of two girls whos heads were right by eachother, and this black cover with a girl bowing. These two albums I also learned later as Siamese Dream and Adore.

19, liked them since I was 6. Wasn't always an "avid fan", but I was aware of their music and always took comfort in some of their songs. Good memories right there.
