i know people dislike alternate tunings, but you'll have to get used to this one, as it's the tuning used on at least half the album. it's even used on doomsday and united states - i had to update those tabs with this tuning as well.

Very interesting tuning. Maybe thats why I couldn't get the sound exactly right for Doomsday. I'm tuning now...I'll let you know how it goes.

it looks like a scary tuning, but it's really not bad at all. every string is tuned down a step and a half. so basically, it plays just like standard tuning but sounds lower.

That's awesome. I love the sound I'm getting. I think I'll use this tuning for a while.

Do you think they are using this tuning live...for the older songs that is?

Cool beans. Will def have to try this one once I get new guitar strings. Alternate tunings.. fun.

I must ask - how the hell can you just really go about tabbing these songs??
