In the earphoria version of Soma, at 2:05-2:08 and 2:14-2:16. Now, what is that?

By the way, anybody have a fender blender?
I have a fender blender. It's alright for playing lead parts and stuff, but you absolutly cannot play chords with it and it's expensive. It also adds a lot of noise to the amp. It's good and useful for noise rock or ending a show with extreme feedback and volume, but it's use in actual songs is questionable.

You can play two note chords with it, I actually use it with another distortion pedal to get some amazing sustain. You could imagine it can get pretty loud!
I like using the Boss PS-5 to get that Zero solo "squeal" sound. It's a versatile pedal, love it.

Opening, sustained A (harmonic?) note in Bury Me? What effect is that?

you dont need an effect to make harmonics- you strum the note with your pick and immediately after that you lightly press your thumb against the string and it makes a pinch harmonic

Yeah I knew that - but that opening note obviously has effects on it other than just the harmonic being played, if it's even a harmonic.

Yeah it's just feedback, but there's some sort of computer modulation when it comes in. You probably won't be able to reproduce that live.
