It's recorded on Cubase.
I'm totally not trying to go in a "metal" direction, I mean overly metal, or only metal.
That song was recorded with a guitar tuned to E-G#-B-F#-B . It was missing the first (or sixth?) string also. The second part sounds quite Sonic Youth-ish, if I do say so myself. But that is yet to be recorded.

Yeah, it's second hand. It is a little bit difficult to work with at first, but you get the hang of it very easily.
The way I learned how to do things is I did as much as I wanted to do that I could figure out, then if I wanted to do something that I didn't know how, or couldn't figure out, I would look it up in the operation manual PDF file. It's gotten me quite far.
