could anybody recommend me any good ones? the only replacement ones I've experimented with were Dimarzio super distortions. I've aquired a Gibson Les Paul Studio from 1991 and I'm trying to get ideas for electronics.

im not sure these are humbuckers, but billy c used fender lace sensor pickups alot (i dont know wen, but alot)

I think those are single coil, but definitely high quality ones. I know he used those pretty much all the time with his Strats, or at least from the SD era on.

I've heard very good things about Bill Lawrence pickups. For what you get they're reasonably cheap, too. You also can't really go wrong with a pair of Seymour Duncans.

yeah, I've been thinking about getting a 70's stratt reissue and puttin some lace sensors in it, but as of right now I need to get this lp sounding good.
