Nightmare Before Christmas 1 Year, 11 Months ago
Anyone else on here Nightmare Before Christmas fans? I'm just asking because they just re-released the movie in 3-D and a special edition soundtrack. And it's halloween next week.

That was my favorite movie when I was a kid and I still love it, but now 3/4ths of my school "love" it. So I like to keep it hush hush. I wish Jack would've gone to the easter and thanksgiving places.

I watched that movie so many times when I was little. I'm 16 now, and I think I was watching it around the time it came out. Which would make me 6 then.

What sucks is they had Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the Disco do cover songs. I do approve, however, of Fiona Apple and She Wants Revenge's covers. I don't really know much about Marilyn Manson's music to be for his cover or against it.

I love love love this movie!!! Words can't express just how much I love this movie. Except for, well, "love", I guess. But I do want to say this:

I'm so grateful I was a little kid when this movie came out. I don't think I could have ever appreciated it the same if I wasn't.

Tim burton is a really cool director and i love nightmare heaps. I also like his other movies including Ed Wood which is about the director Edward D. Wood junior.
This guy was a real director but he was pretty bad at it and the other day i found one of his movies from like the 1950s called "Glen or Glenda" and its the most dandy thing ever. It's kinda based on him as he liked to wear womens clothing.
anyhoo....tim burton is great

I love the movie and was looking forward to seeing it... but apparently only 3 theatres in Canada are capable of showing it (and none are near me) - so that sucks.

As for the re-released soundtrack... a few demos and 4 or 5 mostly crap covers (2 of the same song)... a poor attempt at a cash-in if ever I saw one. They could have at least got a band to cover almost every song from the soundtrack - and tried to have less sh*t bands doing it.

Oh, totally. I must have watched this movie at 500 hundred times. I know most of the words if I'm watching!!! Tim Burton is my favorite director (I especially love Edward Scissorhands.) So yes. I am.

I watched it for the first time in a long time this week, it's even cuter now. I have a VHS copy, don't know if I'll break down and get the DVD.

I got the new soundtrack a few days ago. It's sweet. Only problem is the Panic at the Disco and Fall Out Boy covers. They suck.

I'm guessing they're going to come out with a special edition DVD soon, to follow-up on the 3D release. I'd be hoping for it to include the original release, the 3D version, a bunch of extras and some funky glasses 8)

yeah, it was pretty sweet when I was little

but the same thing, the whole gothic group of kids when I was in high school used it as their "thing"

Tim Burton is really good at what he does though.

He and Johnny Depp make a great team.
