So, after going thru a phase of wanting a better digital camera, to a Nintendo Wii, I've pretty much decided on an XBox 360 for Christmas, albeit the core version but who cares.
What games can you guys recommend?
I reckon I'll get Moto GP as that looks F'ing sweet!
A few shooters, but not too many, I don't want to become a stereotype xboxist (I Love my Nintendos too much)!  |

i love shooting games, maybe try a grand theft auto game if you can

I can only personally comment on the games I've got, but Gears of War is fantastic (although, much better if you've got XB Live or somebody to play co-op with). Dead Rising is fun too, if you're looking for a single player game to keep you busy.

I still haven't decided which console I'm going to buy but for X Box 360, Gears of War and Rainbow Six Vegas look sick. I just love to shoot shit up.  |

Provided that you have some time to put in (and you like RPGs), Oblivion is pretty excellent. I have it for PC, but my friend runs it on Xbox 360 and it looks just as good.

Im still on xbox one, there is no beating the original halo, the second one sucked anus soooo badly, there wasnt even a good level at all after the first ones on earth. HALO 1 is the bestest, im not getting my hopes up for number three either.

If a 360 is connected, by cable or wireless networking, to an XP Media Centre Edition PC, is it possible to play music on the 360 even if it doesn't have a hard drive on it (the core version), I suppose that would be streaming the music.
And is that streamed music good quality?

Its probably the same quality as your computer, if you have good speakers on your TV.

I've ordered the 360 for Christmas, I don't think I'll be able to stream the music anyway because I need to download update rollup 2 for XP, and I don't think I can do that because the site keeps twelling me my XP is not real, and then I think it'll fuck up my OS. Stupid Microsoft, Meh, getting a 360 now  Yay! |

I didn't realise GTA was out for the 360 *looks on amazon* it's not.
Grand Theft Auto IV comes out for the 360... on October 19th 2007 !
I can't even play old xbox gta because I don't have a hard drive on my 360  |
