its funny you mention Maury Povich, cause im watching it RIGHT NOW! freaky. he isnt doing paternity tests though. but ive noticed thats practically all he does. most of the time the guy isnt the father, then the mother storms off into that little room below the studio. can anyone tell me if they know for sure this show is set up?

I'm so glad we stumbled on to Maury Povich! I love that show! I rush home every afternoon I can to catch it in time!

I remember when it was actually a respectable show. In the good old days of Talk Soup, and the Talk Show Renaissance of the mid-90s. But I have to admit, the trashier the better!

I love the paternity tests so much, because even though everyone's actions are so predictable, the surprises and their reactions never stop to be entertaining. I've noticed, though, that in recent years, running off crying to backstage has become something of a standard now. I remember when it was rare for that to happen, but now nobody wants to stay onstage when they're devastated anymore. As if the shame of being watched by millions of people backstage rather than onstage is any better.

Oh well, uh, what was the topic? Cheese?

I'm obsessed with perfectly organizing my iTunes library. And if there's anything, like an album, a book series, a DVD series, etc., I just HAVE to have the entire set. I will delete an album from my library even if it's incomplete by one song. My desk is a complete mess, though.
And I used to write random math problems to do myself just for fun when I was bored. But I don't care, math is fun!

i went to hawaii to visit relatives, and i took18 water bottles, a bunch of matches (which i had to throw away cause i went on a plane), tons of shampoo, conditioner, soap, slippers, coffee and a ton of other useless crap.

i have to take huge amounts of anything that's free. its also very fun.

thats like my dad. he goes to all expenses to get this useless crapon holidays, then when we get home he's like "...and why did we take this???"

instead of vacuming my floorboards every day i just wear thongs around the house so i dont get bits on my feet...dust and cat hair etc hahahaha im a grot

I never really took the trouble to do floor-cleaning on the carpet until I moved into an apartment with hard-wood floors—and I could SEE all the disgusting filth that accumulates in just a week! Maybe I should put in a carpet. But it would just kill the ground-shaking bass from my stereo. I've taken a [questionably-tasteful?] liking to the bass.

Well, ignoring the bass, all the more reason to get a carpet--if you don't see it, it doesn't matter!

Well, I guess it also depends on whether it's a short or long-term residence. The landlords may never know about the hairy extra carpet layer until I'm long gone.

no dude they make you vaccume. and its bad for spills. and it gets smelly. and u have to carpet clean it before u move out... id be screwed with carpet the amount of times my cats have peed on the floor

When I had hardwood floors I wanted carpet because it was always so cold and there would be clumps of hair and crap all over the place all the time, but now that I have carpet I realize I have to vaccume all the time...and I hate the vaccume its so loud and intrusive..plus I've stained it several times..when I move out I have to rent one of those steam cleaner things....such a pain...hardwood floors are far more superior!
