nope, i don't really get them. the only time i came close was the morning after the very first time i started drinking, which i don't do often.

yeah sometimes I will drink a beer and it helps. It can be pretty sick though or I eat peanut butter on toast followed by a burger or some poutine. nothing better than fried food when you're hungover.

I did actually get pi... really drunk on Saturday afternoon and then got back to friends house and drank slowly thru the night not getting drunk, then I drank a little the next day and I felt fine!

Best cure-don't drink so much!!!!!
When I was younger I use to do the whole get "drunk until your really stupid barfing in the toilet then spend all of the next day sick off your ass" thing a lot.
But I got tired of making a fool of myself and being ill. So now when I go out I have a few drinks, maybe get a nice buzz, then stop. Then I don't get hangovers.
To prevent one though, you coudl take some vitamins before you drink. Or I've heard for every drink you have match it with a glass of water, but to me that would be a lot of water and cause many, many, trips to the bathroom.

they also say that you must start drinking again the morning you wake up with a hangover.. dunno if it works for the bad feeling, but i do know that it's like the worst thing you can do (because your liver won't digest the alcohol in that case or something like that) and i do know that when you have a hangover, you kinda don't feel like drinking.. so a bad idea i guess

the only thing that helps if your prone, is a couple of panadol before you go to sleep (or pass out) and lots of water. the biggest part of a hangover is the dehydration...and i saw a science show on it once and if you drink like a poweraid before u go to sleep as well it helps due to the increased electolytes that its puts back into you.

oh and also if you smoke lots of cigarettes when u drink like me, it makes a hangover worse. eating a good meal bfr u drink makes a huge difference too...most of this stuff is before morning prep, not really cures, but it makes a nite out a whole lot more fun and the morning...and that horrid afternoon hangover heaps easier.

the whole hair of the dog thing....well i wouldnt know i havent tried it but the thought of a beer on a hungover stomache just makes me want to hurl ("here...spew in this" hahahaha)

Never got a hangover. I have to be very careful when I drink, because a tiny little bit can make me trashed.

i dont know if this is an australian product, but my brother takes berroca when he gets a hangover- after that he goes for a run. :-S i dont know if the run would help at all...

also, like someone said above, eating oily food helps.

The only thing that gives me a hang over is champagne, I have no idea why but hey, thats the way it is.

Well if you dont prepare the night before by drinking water I came up with one of my own little concoctions about a year ago that I found really works, but doesnt taste to nice but really does work in about 15 minuets. Get a mug half full of water and add all these things in pretty much the same amount of each.

Water (Like I just said)
Honey
Pure Lemmon Juice (Like from lemmons not lemmonade :P)
2 asprins (I found they work bette rthan panadoll but you'll have to put them in first so they can dissolve)
Milk
Teabag or coffe grains/beans whatever, either of those.

Now heat up and drink, belive it or not does work.

Or if your one of those people who wake up then about half an hour later start to feel it comming on just have about 3 shots then you should be good

I normally stop after two, but I drank a lot at my bachelorette party, and wound up being the only one without a hangover.
I had nine drinks, all different things, including a screwdriver, the OJ of which I think helped, and two glasses of water, also I made myself a sandwich later, everyone else was throwing up and/or passing out. I just helped clean up and made sure everyone was comfortable. I was pretty tired, but decided that since I had stayed up so late already, I may as well wait and watch the sunrise. So instead of sleeping, I just sipped a Pepsi and sat quietly for an hour.
After the sun rose and I got some sleep, had a mild headache, but don't know if that was a hangover or just the usual. I took a couple Ibuprofen and didn't think of it.

it helps your head bigtime...but yes the liver thing. but seriously if your going to drink alot then u not need worry about a bit of panadol
