yep, it's gonna be a crappy season. Luckily the DC area is protected by the Chesapeake Bay somewhat and we very rarely get direct hits. . although we did get Isabel in Sept 2003. That was not pretty (but they shut the fed govt down for 2 days - wooooooooot no work!)

yeah , Isabel.....scary. It was supposed to hit NJ (where I live) but it narrowly missed. Although we had Floyd in 1999 and that was just plain evil.
Im kind of scared because supposedly New Jersey is "overdue" for a hurricane occurance. And well, NJ is not really protected by anything. (dun dun dun!)

Lets just hope we wont get so many tropical storms or hurricanes this year! For everyones sake

i lived in maryland most of my life now im in los angeles area now i worry about earthquakes..
