i just watched 'the man who fell to earth' (1976)

it was weird but i enjoyed it, bowie was great in it but there were alot of holes and things that seemed to happen for no reason I am laughing out loud.

im about to watch 'east of eden' with james dean. its very good, but keep some tissues handy

other ones i would recomend if u havent seen, anything by stanley kubrick (i love this man) especially 2001:a space odessy...i love scifi at the moment but only old sci fi...the new stuff is all over the top special effects, the older ones are far more interesting and spooky

no i cant watch it i now too many old strippers (one is an old friend of my mums) that have told me about the main people in it. theyre all old coke heads lol

requiem is great. vdepressing tho. my friends ex lost his arm from a steroids addiction (he kept hitting scar tissue with the needle and it did something) so whenever i see it it reminds me of that

i really have to go see little miss sunshine too, so many people have said great things about it

I really wanna see LMS too, if only for the fact it's directed by my favourite music video directors. They did the Tonight Tonight, 1979 and Perfect (and a couple more I've forgotten) videos (plus a few other great ones).

and have u seen that one with john malcovich (i LOVE him) where he plays a con in a true story who goes around pretending he's stanley kubrick, even tho he looks nothing like him? and he get away with it?? I am laughing out loud. i think its called "colour me kubrick"


and i really loved marie antoinette. people have been getting funny about its historical inacuracies but its so beautiful that it didnt bother me in the slightest. i didnt go and watch it as a period piece. thats what i have the BBC for.. and i mean where esle would u get to see versailles looking so beautiful without ever gong there? the music is great too at one point they play New Orders 'ceremony' and siouxsie and the banchees. theres even some aphex twin
