Has anyone seen this duo in concert together? I've got orchestra level seats for August for a joint concert of these two (right smack in front of the stage). Just wondering how Counting Crows are in concert - I really like their music. . .and well. . as for the GooGoo Dolls - I like to drool over Johnny Rzeznik

I seen the counting crows on the august and everything after tour.
it was different. the dude didn't sing. it's like the band played music and the singer was reciting poetry over the music. but it all linked together. like he's telling a story. I thought it was really cool. it was hill auditorium in Ann arbor Mi. you could just walk up to the stage no mosh pit. as i rec-o-lect I parked in a parking garage and when i left couldn't find the garage let alone my car. let me know how the show goes. boo the goo goo dolls.

I don't like either band very much. They just never appealed to me. However, the Goo Goo Dolls seem more palatable to me than the Counting Crows.

Agreed! I also like a bit more sincerity in the stuff that I listen to. If everything sounds the same, how is anything like that supposed to come through?

i completely agree, but i still respect them on some levels, they are good musicians, they just dont strive to change anything like billy did.
