Weird cool thing happened to me a few years back and thought I'd share...

One night, when my world seemed to be collapsing around me, I went out for a very long walk. I was feeling dispirited and faithless. Every shop was shut, and most people were turning their porch lights out for the night. I walked for a long time through darkened streets and then, floating above the rooftops came the sound of gospel music. I followed the sound until it got louder and finally I came to its origin. The doors of the small, white, one-story, wood faced building were open, so I decided to take a seat in the back pew rather than linger around to listen from the parking lot. I stayed about 15 mins, before I started to tear up. The music coaxed the problems that had brought me there, out into the open.

A few of the members noticed me tearing and came to comfort me - which was strange, but felt kind of natural. To take my mind off things they asked me what song I wanted to sing. By this time everyone there, about 12 people, had stoped to join the discussion. I don't know any gospel songs and was truly stumped. Plus I told them I really didn't want to sing. When they insisted that we all sing together, and that I teach them a song I knew, I ended up teaching them...

Well thank you for the compliment. I'm glad you liked the story. I just thought that it's not the type of thing that happens every day and I found it kind of magical so it might be interesting to share.
