Pearl Jam played Lollapalooza and when AT&T was streaming it, they censored their political lyrics. I don't know if any of you have heard this or not. But here's the article I found.

Yeah I heard about this, this is terrifying. It should be front page news, AT&T can get in big trouble for this, can't they?

AT&T can get in a hell of a lot of trouble...from people who are offended by Pearl Jam's comments. Unfortunately, people like to associate sponsors with the acts they promote...if there are some AT&T customers who are pro-Bush, they're not going to be too fond of AT&T promoting a band like Pearl Jam. It's part of the business and AT&T is covering their ass. They weren't promoting Pearl Jam for their political rants, they were promoting them for their music and most importantly the "$$$$$$$".

In my opinion Pearl Jam can say whatever the hell they want. However, the company's who sponsor them can do whatever the hell they want under contract. And that unfortunatly is how America works these days. Money, money, money.

Terrible, and terrifying. I hope AT&T does get in trouble. I'm glad PJ are outraged. They should be.

Pearl Jam is really upset over this from other article's that I've read. But why are people still offended by the "Anti-Bush" remarks? They've been going on since he was first elected, you'd think people would be used to it by now.

Seriously. But worse things have been said about Bush on TV than what Pearl Jam did.
