I like them a lot, but especially with stadium arcadium, i don't enjoy listening to that album straight through, because most of it sounds like one long song, just with pauses in between

I can think of a number of great chili peppers songs off the top of my head though, which means a lot

Yep, does anyone have the song "Circle of the Noose" by the way? It was one of their One Hot Minute outtakes.

"Wet Sand" is probably the best track off of Stadium Arcadium. I can name a lot of favorite RHCP songs off the top of my head: Around The World, Californication, Can't Stop, Zephyr Song, Venice Queen, Breaking TheGirl, AND my personal favorite which is Soul To Squeeze

They are ok, but not to listen to all at once, just a song here and there, its boring listening to more than 3 songs at a time, they are all the same.

I feel very "meh" about them. I can't stand their new stuff; my brother loves it and plays it all the time. I kind of like some of their older stuff, like "Under the Bridge" and "Give it Away."

hate em! all their songs are the exact same! also, anthony keidis thinks the pumpkins have a song called 'gish'!!!!!!!!

By The Way was different.. it sounded awful! (To me atleast), I did really like Californication though, their early stuff seems to be quite good, but I'm not a huge fan or anything.

They have a unique sound yes, but they havent even tried to develope it, its just the same rehashed garbage for 20 years.

bass lines in their songs are pretty sick. cds are pretty much the same though. and plus, mcis kicks stadium arcadium badly.

John Frusciante is one of the best guitarists of our time. Sure a lot of their stuff is redundant but I think they do what they do VERY well!

They haven't done anything of worth since Californication (everything since then might is so homogonous) IMO.

I agree with the folks who've said they can only handle Keidis and Co. in small doses. The fauz white-boy rap thing gets a little tiresome. But you can't deny the prowess Flea and Fruschante have! And Californication was an amazing album (with equally amazing vids! Otherside and the self-titled single are two of the best music videos ever.)

Stadium Arcadium's hard to swallow. Too much homogenity (it's good but unmemorable.)

And Anthony is hot. There. I said it.

.....? That's their spin on funk. Unless you're refering to "If you Have to Ask" off BSSM.
