I LOVE this show...im praying that theres going to be a second season, it ended on a cliffhanger! HBO makes some of the best shows, Deadwood, Carnivale! problem is they all get cancelled after a few seasons, or not shown here at all! as the majority of television viewers would rather watch big brother, or next top model. its not art! its not original!! its BORING and insults my intelligence!

as a sidenote, for those of you who didnt catch it, its a great drama about a modern polygimist family living in utah. i caught the ads for it before it stated as i noticed that it starred chloe sevigny, whom i adore, and a string of other great actors, ginnifer goodwin, bill paxton etc and anyway ive been hooked ever since. its the only thing other than my name is earl that i go out of my way to watch ...most tv is crap..so i hope it isnt cancelled like most other BRILLIANT HBO shows. it really says alot about people when u think that the only really long running and successful HBO tv show of late is sex and the city, which yes has grown on me A LITTLE but is still mostly fluff compared to other more original minded shows theyve done...like Big Love.

anyway do yourself a favour and watch it if u can. and deadwood also was great.

I recently caught a Big Love marathon and i got to see a few episodes in succession. I had never watched the show before but I was immediately hooked after the first five minutes. I think HBO does a good job of showing us how different cultures co-exist with our own and how we are all just humans no matter what we believe. Big Love is a great show...I've even thought of converting to Mormonism since watching...thanks HBO FOR ANOTHER GREAT SERIES!!!!

FYI: (hahahaha ive never actually used that term outloud or in text (cos its so gay))...its tv. and thats generally a strong point that the show makes itself. theyre not traditional mormons, nor are they traditional morman polygimsts.
what are u worried that everyones going to think that polygimy is the bestest thing ever now weve seen biglove. bels full of shit...intentionally... its a good drama. i get excited over the fact that decent tv still exists. if i wanted to learn about being a mormon, non polygimist that is...i dont think its ever been an issue here lol id start knocking on THEIR doors. theyre generally quite accessable and normal people lol

and yeah bel ive heard sopranos is great i just never got a chance to watch it. australian tv is crap and anything good is generally put on at a time when nobody can watch it. unless you want to pay for cable tv and then you get everything over and over and over until even the most entertaining shows make you want to scratch your eyes out..
