SP: The Hook on Everlasting Gaze - "Real Love" - "To love you" - "Luna" makes me warm - "Porcelina" feels epic to me - Oh and "She" comes to mind now - i think because I heard those songs today. Love all their stuff before Zeitgeist. I agree with Yteah first post - none of the songs except maybe one or two even come close to giving me that feeling.

Joy Division: Ceremony (and basically everything else they did)

Shiny Toy Guns: "You are the one"

Sonic Youth: "Reena" - "Schizophrenia"

Foo Fighters: "In your honor" - "Still" - "Generator" - "Razor"


U2: "Still haven't found what I'm looking for" - "Where the streets have no name"

I'll admit, U2 (the 80s stuff) evokes major emotions in me. "In the Name of Love," whooo. Bono and the Edge have a heart-rending formula, no doubt.

At the moment for me my favourite songs are....

Where is my mind - pixies. Love love love the drums.

Kick my ass - garbage. Always been one of my favourite songs ever...

Famous last words - MCR. This song does so many diffrent things, and totally works.

The (after) life of the party - fall out boy. A nice relaxing song...I like to chill to it, and I like how it builds up. Oh, and it's got a funky beat.

Bring the light - SP. Makes me wanna dance.

Sleeping with Giants - the academy is.... Awesome song. Fun drums.

Welcome to the black parade - MCR. Whatever your opinion of MCR are, this is actually one of the best songs ever.

Lazy eye - silversun pickups. I reeeealy like this song. Actually, I really like a lot of their songs lately. His voice is my favourite ever. I don't really get the SP comparisons, though...

As you can see, I'm not really in much of a pumpkins mood at the moment...but most of my favourite songs EVER are pumpkins songs. This is just a list for this week :P

The Black Angels.

They opened for the pumpkins at The Fillmore. I got their CD "Passover" and I'm going to be seeing them at Download Festival 2007. I really like them.

Sometimes yes, but most of the times no. Too bad they make the same record over and over again. When I hear a U2 song, I can never immediately remember what album it was from.

since july 10 i have only listened to zeitgeist it hasn't left my stereo since i opened it up everytime i listen im more amazed by it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Gathering are a great band i have been getting into recently, from the netherlands, they have a very interesting ambient gothic rock style.

Also Umphrey's Mcgee are one of the most orignal bands i have heard, they have a great fun jam jazz/funk style

Oh, and a band called London After Midnight! they are great.

As well as a lot of bands from the japanese music scene known as "visual kei" once you get over the fact that all the guys look like girls it is very much enjoyable music. Bands like Malice Mizer, Alice Nine. and X Japan
