well.. Pete, are you going to sit down and individually tab out all of the pumpkins songs? I was planning on altering existing tabs until they are right, and giving credit where credit is due.

More power to you if you want to create all your own tabs, but that's a heck of a lot of work, just for one song even.

No, I was just saying everyone should be able to upload their own tabs, just like uploading pictures in the gallery section. Although tabs are not copyrighted, it's wrong to take someone else's work (without asking of course). Besides most tabs have some sort of message like this at the top.

Everyone has the ability to upload tabs now. What you want to personally upload will be up to you.

You three will be in charge of evaluating and publishing the tabs. To make the process easier, you will be emailed every time a tab is uploaded by a normal user.

Go to the Tabs section and click on the "New" button:



Or if you need to edit a page, click on the edit icon:



Please only do this in the Tabs section.

Then you will see a page like this:



Here's what you do here:

In Title put: Tab - Song Name (capitalize the first letter of each word)

In Category select Tabs obviously.

Ignore Intro Text

In Main Text copy and paste this basic HTML:

Here's what you need to replace in this code:

In the two places where it says test.txt replace "test" with whatever the name of you file is.

Where it says Download Link you can replace it with the name of the song.

Where it says 600 is the height of the tab area. I'll let you decide what the number should be.

Now the work is done.



On the Publishing tab, select Published to automatically make the page public or Unpublished if it's not ready.



Click the blue button to save and apply or the red x to cancel.
