I agree about the technicality part. It seems like there is little or no wiggle room for the U.S. to get out of this one, because who can deny that the Native Americans were there first? The only issue I see happening is simply the government not paying attention, on purpose, and putting it aside as some sort of joke.

The thing is, the U.S. population is heavily reliant on popular media for their everyday news, in general, and the everyday new won't cover this one bit, as far as I can tell already.

I'm really hoping that the Sioux get compensation for their losses. They deserve it!
