I dunno, I've really been put off TV lately. I can't stand watching it anymore. It's not because of what gets shown (well, it kind of is..) it's just that I can't be bothered with it anymore.

We have Sky TV, which is a satellite set up, gives you about 200 channels of shit. If I watch anything, it's usually on the free-to-air channels.

The only thing I watch adamantly these days is Coronation Street

huh, i have never heard of that show, is it only in your country?

i will watch the scifi chanel, vh1 classic cause they show alot of led zep stuff, and i watched a pretty cool show about metal last night, i also like the discovery chanel (deadlist catch is a good show), and i watch the ufc, but like you i am not watching alot of tv anymore, i have too many other things to do. but about an hour before i go to bed i usually watch something. oh i do like the soup (been watching that show for ages, like since i was 15)

Telly is such a time sink. The only show I go out my way to watch is heroes. But other than that the telly is just background noise to me. Even the music channels are getting boring with repeateing the same old EMO or coldplay clones.

Spend most of my free evening time now reading and listening to music

TV is absolutley not my thing.
Apart from Married with children i don't watch any movies or shows in TV.
If i like a movie, I buy myself the DVD and watch the film without intermissions.

most of tv does suck, but you can always find a rare gem of a show, like re-runs of the fresh prince or lost.

i don't have time for TV in college.
but i'm not complaining.

I've lived without cable for about 7 years now, and am quite content with that.

That said ... I still watch a lot of TV. But I'd like to think I have pretty good taste in my selections (outside of American Gladiators, which is a guilty pleasure.) I'm such a Lostie, Heroes girl, and big fan of NBC's Thursday night comedies.

TV on DVD is pretty much where it's at, though. I'm loving Freaks and Geeks and My So-Called Life right now.

I'm in college too and my tv time has pretty much all gone away. I do still watch a few shows though. I like a couple sci-fi shows, TMZ (hey, its funny), and Masterpiece Theater . I like PBS a lot- esp. the British shows, Antiques Roadshow, and the history stuff.

My So-Called Life was one of the BEST shows. EVER.
I remember when they made the book version. I still have both of them.

i think its on only in your country maybe. i've never heard of it either. i don't think its on in the US.

that was like one of the best shows ever in the world, can i say how much i loved that show. when they took it off the air i about died. that was when i was in 11th grade, wow, that was a long time ago.


yeah they don't have coronation street on the tv here, unless it is on bbc america, but i haven't seen it.

i used to watch a lot of pbs, i don't get that chanel anymore, i loved red dwarf, do they still show that? and are you being served, and the other one with the lady named hyicenth, can't remebmer the name of it.

right now i am trying not to watch a lot of tv, i like some really dumb show, like bret michaels rock of love, although it is over now, that show sucked me in last season. i love heather.

i also really love project runway, but the absolute best show ever is the shield. but it doesn't come on again untill this fall, i can't wait that long.
