Ok some things that have been bothering me:

1. When creating a new thread, the topic icons that users select do not register and the thread automatically defaults to the generic topic icon. Even though a topic is definitely selected. I have to go in and edit tons of threads like this. I know, it's kinda nitpicky.

2. Sometimes when using quick reply in the thread I decide that I want to use a boardcode/smilie, so I click reply (in order to get the code), but when the page refreshes all of what I have typed in the quick reply box is now gone. Is there a way to have what you've already typed to transfer over to the reply box. Blamo's board does this and it's really nice.

3. Some of the things on the site are not Mac friendly. The only one I've really come across is the gallery section. I was trying to upload pics for ages, but it always stalled out or gave an error. I tried on my work computer and the files uploaded instantly...just some feedback really, no need to do anything.

The first problem has been fixed. It seems that the icon would set to default if anything besides the first seven was selected.

For the other problems, I can only wait for component upgrades and hope they add the feature.

I think that the next caption contest should be of one of Billy and/or Jimmy at the rock walk!

I there a reason why we don't have the banner on the front page that scrolls through recent news anymore? The blank Zeitgeist background is starting to ware on me.

There hasn't been much big news lately. When August or September comes, I'm sure we'll be able to put it to good use. I don't know if we'll use the scrolling though. It was sort of glitchy and made the site slow.

I think I can collapse that banner space for now. I'll try it and see how it looks.

I've added a "Favorites" feature to the site so users can list their favorite cover songs, fan art, news items, etc.

Just click the yellow star symbol on the right side of the page and it'll be added to your profile.

I also removed the bookmarking icons that were at the bottom of the pages, because I don't think anyone was using them, and they were kind of a waste of space.

Sweet. I saw that icon a while ago when I wasn't logged in beside the thread titles, wondering what in tarnation they were. Is that anything to do with you working on this feature?

Forum favorites have always existed. It works in a similar way, but instead the star appears next to the thread title that's been favored. For people who aren't logged in, it shows the star next to threads that have been favored many times. At least, I think that's how it works. This new feature is for the other parts of the site.

Hmm... Well I don't see the star anywhere, on photo pages or on thread pages.
