Your favourite songs EVER! 3 Months, 1 Week ago
Try and see how big you can make your list.

Try and see if you can get it without any Pumpkins (or Pumpkins-related).

Try and see if you can make it in order and numbered, in order of your favourite songs EVER.

In this list, scatter various Radiohead songs throughout the list from The Bends to In Rainbows. And "You" and "Stop Whispering" from Pablo Honey.

Much too difficult for me. It's one thing to try and choose and order favourite albums (and that's still tough), but to do songs... impossible.

Geek - I definitely agree that "Plug In Baby" is Muse's best! But, really, no "Pablo Honey" except "You"? "Stop Whispering" is probably my favorite Radiohead song ever! And no Pumpkins?! BLASPHEMY! Hehe.

Melabonbon - relatively good choices, but ... Hanson? Oy vey.

As for my list, there's no way I can number these babies without the Pumpkins in there. So ...

Moulin Rouge soundtrack, "Come What May"
MGMT, "Time to Pretend"
Weezer, SO MANY TO LOVE but mostly "The Good Life," "Pink Triangle" and "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived"
Straylight Run, "Buttoned Down"
Oasis, "Don't Look Back in Anger"
The Beatles, "Hello Goodbye" and "In My Life"
My Chemical Romance, "Famous Last Words"
Veruca Salt, "With David Bowie" and "Loneliness is Worse"
Liz Phair, "Fuck and Run"

Crapsicles, I can't think of anymore right now.

Trillian - "Where's the Love" is an excellently crafted, catchy pop tune. And Taylor's voice is always divine and intense and beautiful. I'm not sure how much Hanson you've actually heard, if your opinion is just based on "Mmmbop"?

(Which I also contend is quite a catchy little tune with a nice little message to it, but they've come a long way since then as they've continued to grow and develop as musicians and songwriters in the past 11 years.)

They're one of my favorites. Awesome live. Even our Billy was spotted at a show at the House of Blues here in Chicago some years ago

My most played song in iTunes and definitely one of my favourites is Bleeder by Hot Water Music. It was originally by Alkaline Trio, but the Hot Water Music version is so much more powerful. I defy anyone on here to listen to it and not like it!
