This probably won't be as good as the "Explain your online name!!!" thread seeing as a lot of people just have a picture of the Pumpkins, and others change theirs more often than their underwear *coughPistolPetecough* but I think this will be quite interesting still.

I nicked my mine as an idea I got from a Pumpkins video, perhaps Silverfuck on Vieuphoria, in which D'arcy has a sticker of an upside down frown on her bass.

That seemed like such a simple yet powerful icon to me, which kind of stood out to me and said so much with so little effort. Two things which pop into my mind are "Don't worry, be happy" and "Turn that frown upside down!"

Sometimes I think it must be a parody of the "Have a nice day!" smileys, or even a parody of the parodies which are right-way-up frowns.

For about three minutes after noticing it, I was thinking more about the sticker than the video.


I have also incorporated it as the symbol of my band.

Needless to say, that one can see The Beatles in their late 60s era on my avatar...

I chose this one, because Siamese times were good times for the band, they really stayed together and cared about each others and it was the last time before all those troubles started which ended up in Jimmy being thrown out and the end of the "one and only Pumpkins" in 2000.

Hmmm... This one doesn't really have mush to do with the pumpkins sadly, I was at a house party my best friends girl bought a SLR camera I wasn't in the party mooed and she'd taken an photo, ever since I used it for this page.

Im Boring and just nicked a zeitgiest flag picture from another web page....LOL

I really like bulletwoutbutterflywings Avatar picture though

i really love the art of luis royo, and my avatar is one of his scheches. my other one, with the girl was also luis royo, it was called eyeliner labryinth. i forget what this one is called, but you should totaly check out his art. very nice.



and to pistol pete, i always love your avatars, they are great. i specially like the one you have now. and i thought the pajo one was hilarous.

first magazine that I saw the pumpkins in. my brother had a copy in his room way back when and i sort of stole it from him.

jeans, gibson explorer, iron maiden t, huge pointless hair. i have about ten pictures of him i use for msn a lot. he's probably just finished doing a sniper guitar, behind the head solo, or a few screams into his pickups.
