Like Reggae said if she has a fear of what others think she might want to do it on the down-low. A fear of fitting in cost most their happiness though.

Or maybe since she hears them she should ask what they want? Ase the reason in it...if there is one. And try to get them to see that she means the land and "them" no harm. See if something can be worked out. Sounds strange but most things can be solved by talking things out. Even if the other or others are not physical.

yes, they live very near the reservation. but i don't think she thought of that. and she may not talk to them about it because she is very into what other people think about her. even if they would belive her, she wouldn't want them thinking she was wierd.

but if they don't know english, you think that would work? she says they talk in a language that she doesn't understand. she probably just needs to talk to a tribal elder, i hope she will.

That's true..that could be a problem. I hope she gets everything settled to her satisfaction though. This sort of thing can be awfully disturbing!

Yeppers peppers! That's what smudging is...burning sage and letting the smoke cleanse the place. But you have to do it in the right way.

hmmm, i don't have any more that i can remember a bunch of details about. i lived in two other haunted houses when i was little- and old victorian and a house before that. i remember seeing some shadowy figures and hearing strange noises- pacing, etc. plus, in the old victorian place there seemed to be parts of the house that almost seemed as though the light was being sucked out of those areas. they were always dark and weird no matter how many lights were on. it was kind of creepy.

i have heard that my college is haunted too. i guess people have seen orbs floating in the buildings and weird lights in the oldest building. i've never seen it though, but i live off campus. dang- i want to see one for kicks.

reading these creeps me out in my dark dungeon of a basement.

I got one.

one time i was eating dinner at a friends house and it was just me him and another friend home.
we were sitting at a table and all of a sudden the lid to a pot flew off the counter and landed on the ground.

That was it.
scared the hell out of me.

Ok I know it's creepy, but I laughed. I guess I would like to see that. And then I would be be freaked out...
my light shave been flickering a ton lately, (probably because everyone in the neighborhood is draining the power-summer time/central air) or it's someone making contact...lol.

HMM that is creepy! I guess someone wanted more of what ever was in the pot. *laugh*

HEHE here is the story that my brandmother told me when I was very young and visiting her. My grandmother was raised in a rural area on a farm where the nearest neighbor was at least a half a mile away with fields and fields along the way, and not a streetlight to be seen. Usually she would leave for home quite a while before the sun set but this day she lost track of the time and as the sun was setting she took off for home. the moon was almost full and there was a light summer breeze as she walked the half mile in the dark...as soon as she stepped foot on teh road she heard the dinging of a bell and it seemed to keep pace with her, but it was on the other side of the hedge so she couldn't see what was attached to the noise. So she upped her speed as did the bell sound. A bit farther up the road the hedge became sparse in places so at the first place she snuck a peek at "the bell" and what did she see but a big white blob in teh field gliding along with her. At this she started to jog but the bell kept pace. Out the corner of her eye she saw the white blob when the hedge fell away. She finally saw the light from her porch and ran full speed to is with teh bell and the white "thing" still following. When she got to the light she stopped and took a true look at "the ghost" and guess what she saw?

A cow *laugh* It was a white cow with a cow bell that had followed her home. My grandmother was not frightened of anything. Well except for that!
