I haven't seen it yet, ticket prices are high here (well yes $6 isn't much for you I guess, but in the US you have higher salary than here in the bomb hole), but if I'll waste my time for a month then I could go watch it for about $2,5 and see it on bigger screen. And popcorn is much cheaper there, too, though I don't eat it, I'll throw up because of this.

While I enjoyed the movie, I was quite disappointed, especially after loving Batman Begins. The film seemed to focus more on showing us the "larger scale of things," and less on individual characters...as a result, I didn't really feel attached to anyone in the film. Hell, even Batman himself was hardly in it, compared to others. To me, Two-Face appeared too late to have much of an impact, in a similar manner to Venom in Spidey 3. Heath Ledger's performance was, naturally, fantastic though...but again, I thought that he should've had more screen-time, especially as he was so fun to watch. That said, the film had some awesome action sequences, and was still great...I just didn't think it lived up to the bar set by the first film, and also by Chris Nolan's previous film, The Prestige.

Essentially what my thoughts were.

I felt myself wanting him to stop talking, or let the joker just talk. Other than that it was an ass kicking film, and plenty long which was good cause I didn't want it to end.

The Joker had his voice too, but he got away with it because he was cool.

His voice and talking style (and demeanour) reminded me of a lizard.

i want to see this thing at the imax!!! i heard this is the first motion picture to be shot with an imax camera. 8 stories of batman!!!!
Only 30 minutes of the movie were shot in imax. The opening scene and the ending. The rest of the movie still looks great on an imax, but you can tell a big difference in the beginning.

Don't forget the two chase scenes, the kidknapping and various outdoor shots (explosions etc).

I'd never seen an Imax film so I was pleasantly surprised at how good it looked! All films should be shot with Imax cameras now!

I think the movie will get better with each viewing. It's such a dense film...

it's much much harder to shoot in imax...it's not really practical

it does look nice though
