What Really Grinds My Gears 1 Month ago

"Ya know what really grinds my gears...."
When YouTube videos take forever to load. I mean what the hell? I thought the days of 56K dial up were over. You mean I can download an entire song in less than 30 seconds, but I can't get a bad quality video to load? Eff that.
People who don't use their blinker. "Hmmm, let me slow down and ruin it for everyone else." I mean if I knew you were going to turn, I could have gone ahead and pulled out. Way to go gramps!
I held the door open for a woman today, and she didn't even say anything in return. It's like she expected it...like it was my duty. I went ahead and said "you're welcome" even though she didn't say thank you. She gave me a dirty look, but I didn't care...she was the one being rude.

I hate that too, especially when they slow down to a dead stop before they turn. The world is full of bad drivers I guess...

When someone says "grinds my gears", it makes me want to rip their testicles off with a vacuum cleaner.

oh i hate it when people don't use thier turn signals. that is the worst, but then there are those people who go driving around with thier turn signals on, and that really gets on my nerves too.
and i always say thank you for people who open the door for me, and i try to open the door for people, but when they are rude, it makes you want to shut that door right in thier face. bunch of jerks.

This situation really 'grinds my gears'.
I'm stopped at a light, I'm the first car with some cars behind me, the light is red. The light turns green. My foot hits the gas pedal within an acceptable timeframe for response time. Immediately as the light turns green, the guy behind me starts to honk his horn, as if I've been sitting at the green light for five minutes.

Haha, mine would be people in front of me taking forever to start going on an advanced green light when I want to turn left before the advanced light is gone, causing me to have to wait until opposing traffic has gone by. This just happened to me today actually...two cars ahead of me, both going straight with me going left, and it took them the whole advanced green light (which is about 10 seconds or so) to go through the intersection. Luckily, opposing traffic hadn't started going yet, so I went left before they did.
It also annoys me when people have a good amount of time to turn left before the oncoming car would "hit" them but they're too scared or something to turn and then we both end up waiting way longer than necessary (if there's more vehicles coming of course).

Right, but honking your horn almost immediately as the light turns green is a little annoying. If you can't wait the 2 seconds for the car to accelerate you need to switch to decaf.

Aggressive drivers "grind my gears!"
That's why I don't have a license, or a car.

UGHHHHH BAD DRIVERS. I live in Southern California, so obviously I'm bombarded with these fools daily.
Other things wot anger me ...
*Politicos who have nothing better to do than try to slander Obama just because he's the (presumptive) Democratic nominee. (Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it better be backed up by FACTS. There are some pundits who like to spew absolute nonsense about the fellow just out of spite.)
*Drinking in Hollywood ($8 for a watered down vodka Sprite? $7 for a beer? Booooo.) Not to mention the parking fees.
*Men who think that catcalling a woman is an effective method of expressing an attraction. Yes, disheveled gardener with the leering eyes, I'm TOTALLY going to go out with you, especially since you've demeaned me. Hubba hubba.
I'm sure there will be more, haha.

nice a pet peeve thread i have some good ones.
Cocky people.
When People say somethin like "that was so cool it's not even funny." It's like, "why would it be funny in the first place?"
When people say literally when it doesn't work. like "I litteraly laughed my head off"
And when people say I could care less. Its I COULDNT care less.
If you could care less then you still have some care left for something. If you say I couldn't care less then thats the minimum amount of care you could have.
and it annoys me when people say butt naked instead of buck. and then when I tell them its buck nacked they think I'm an idiot.

OH.
I rant...
People who don't signal. Sorry buddy if you're not signaling, I'm not letting you in.
BIKE RIDERS IN SAN FRANCISCO. Use the bike lane OR get on the side walk. San Francisco has enough bad drivers, not only do I have to deal with cable cars, taxi drivers, AND homeless, I have to deal with bike riders who feel they have the right of way because they're "green". Bullshit.
Oh and Trillian I completely understand driving in So-Cal, I've driven down there many times and each time I swear I'm never going back.
Cat calls...OH, "Hey girrrl. Hey girrrl. Where you at girrrrl?"
Apparently being a member of female species means I'm not entitled to a name, I'm only referred to as "girl."

I have many, but these are some significant ones:
- The amount of disputes that ensue on Youtube. You can't view a popular video without witnessing a plethora of hateful ridicule being exchanged among members on the comment board system. Humorous part is that it's often over a topic that isn't even relevant with video.
- Inconsideration, selfishness, narcissism, ostentatiousness. They're all traits I dislike, but then again I think everyone does.
- When people resist submitting to defeat during a verbal conflict, when it's obvious they're the vexatious one that provoked it in the first place. As a result, they resort to deriving some irrational reason to justify their position, which just exasperates the situation further.
- When you realize there's no milk left after preparing a bowl of cereal.

I hate idiots who drive big 4x4 cars and act like they are the only ones on the road, completely ignoring you at a crossing etc, just because they would come out better of in any scrape.

i hate it when people pass you like you are parked, when you are going above the speed limit, only to slam on thier brakes a few seconds later to turn, like i was going 5 miles an hour instead of 60. that makes no sense.
also my husbands driving grinds my gears, he wasn't paying attention yesterday and went to pass someone turning on the inside, but failed to notice that they were making a right hand turn, not a left. oh i hate it when he drives.
and people who stop me and ask if my car is for sale, and i tell them no but i would sell it for the right price. my car is worth 12 grand, there is 8 grand worth of motor, and when i tell them 12 they look at me like i am stupid, like i should let them buy the car for 50 bucks. this happens to me at least 4 times a week. it is a classic muscle car people, not an old beater.
