UGHHHHH BAD DRIVERS. I live in Southern California, so obviously I'm bombarded with these fools daily.
Other things wot anger me ...
*Politicos who have nothing better to do than try to slander Obama just because he's the (presumptive) Democratic nominee. (Yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it better be backed up by FACTS. There are some pundits who like to spew absolute nonsense about the fellow just out of spite.)
*Drinking in Hollywood ($8 for a watered down vodka Sprite? $7 for a beer? Booooo.) Not to mention the parking fees.
*Men who think that catcalling a woman is an effective method of expressing an attraction. Yes, disheveled gardener with the leering eyes, I'm TOTALLY going to go out with you, especially since you've demeaned me. Hubba hubba.
I'm sure there will be more, haha.
yeah the obama bashing really bugs me too and im canadian why are so many americans afraid of change? who knows.
also beer for $7 holy shit at my local bar its $5 and $8 for watered down vodka holy shit i wouldn't be drinking only at home lol.

AGREED. That makes my inner grammar Nazi go crazy.
By the way, you forgot the apostrophes in "its" and "couldnt."

When stupid americans make fun of some foreigner's broken english - like making fun of a chinese person's accent, or a spanish speaking person's bad grammar. These stupid americans think they are better than the foreigner, and yet when you ask them 'how's your chinese? or how's your spanish?' they don't know a fucking word. The foreigner is bilingual - all you know is your stupid english.

i hate it when stupid americans make fun of my accent, and i live in kentucky. you go anywhere and if people are making fun of someone, or doing a dumbed down impersonation of them, they do it with a southern accent, like everyone is the south is stupid. sorry to burst bubbles but just cause someone talks slower, or you can't really understand what they are saying because of an accent, or doesn't speak with perfect grammer doesn't mean they are dumb, or need to be made fun of.

I always try to use proper grammar, apostrophes in particular. It seems that mum's grammatical habits have rubbed off onto me. The only time I don't use proper grammar or spelling is when I'm using MSN or texting on my phone.

I find it so anoying online when people use acronyms for everything and expect people to know exactly what it means.
While the person is saving time typing only letters they waste the readers time by leaving them confused trying to figure something such as ASGHIFAHJFSAPBMSRKWAPYUQWAHISAHPSA out.

Sometimes it's handy to use acronyms once someone has already mentioned the full name of the subject.
For example, in the discussion for the show on Friday night, someone mentioned the song We Only Come Out at Night.
I said that I wanted to see a video for WOCOAN.

yeah, i don't always like that either. its dumb when you have to use google just to figure out what someone is saying. i think its useful with song titles though and stuff like that, esp. on band/music forums, but not when people abbreviate regular phrases and stuff.

Aw Bullet, that's harsh. Don't let people like that get to you.
I get similar to that, people always ask me questions like, "Are you going to get an arranged marriage?" or "Do you hate America?"
"No. Go to hell" is my response of choice.

i know, but lots of people do it. i don't make fun of anyone for the way they talk or where they are from. but i know not everyone is like that, but they should be. i just get tired of it. when i go places out west, for example, people look at you like you are stupid when you open your mouth, just because you happen to have a southern accent, and are polite.
and people shouldn't say that stuff to you. i really dislike ignorant people.

I agree completely.
What really grinds my gears is when people don't know the difference between ethnicity and nationality.
Nationality is your place of birth, where you're from. For example, my nationality is American because I was born here.
Ethnicity is your ethnic background. My ethnic background is Iranian because that's where my ancestors descend from-ancestors being my parents coming from Iran and going, "Hey! Democracy! Let's stay here."

Same here, I only started using MSN last year and it took me forever to work out what everyone's trying to say because everything's abbreviated.
The term 'lol' really Grinds my Gears. Everyone overuses it and to me 'lol' has just lost it's meaning, whenever someone types 'lol' I know they're not actually laughing. It's become false laughter and conversation killer in my perspective. There have been convos where I try to create an interesting subject but the only response I get is 'lol' or 'lulz', even when I'm obviously not being funny. I've grown a great dislike towards it.
