Post stuff about them here.

I saw them some time last year, it was VERY cool. The lighting was brilliant, I thought that if light effects floated your boat, a Muse concert would be an ideal gig to go to.

One thing I have noticed with Muse is that SO MANY of their songs are in a minor key. There's not a huge amount in a major key. I know there are some, but the list must be very short compared to minor key songs.

i don't know what key their songs are in, but they are one of my favorite bands. i like most of their songs on the albums.

OK, I don't know much about them...just listened to one album a few times. I don't know it's title, but they were sitting around a table on the cover.
I didn't like it that much, it seemed to me like an uninspired mixture of Pumpkins & Queen...but maybe I just wasn't in the mood, who knows?

Me and Teej are huge fans of Muse.

Personally, I have all their albums, rare releases, B-Sides, music videos, and about 7 gigs of pro-shot bootlegs by them.

Muse are a great band. I love their mix of heavy rock and classical arrangements; you can tell Matt Bellamy is into classical music because he mixes the genres briliantly. I found their last album a bit lacking (I think thats the probably the one you heard DON) but Absolution was brilliant.

As for live Muse; thats a completely different beast. I especially like their use of bizzare and over the top guitar effects and playing.

Muse are fooking mindblowing. Matt Bellamy is such a talented singer, guitarist, stage presence ... I've seen them in concert about 4 times now, and I leave each time having to pick up my jaw from off the floor.

I think Muse is what Radiohead could've been if they had stuck to the rock.

yeah, i agree some. there were a few songs i wasn't as into on that album although there were a few i really liked.

you should give them another listen though Don- try Absolution. i love that album start to finish.

Don- you say they are uninspired? listen to butterflies and hurricanes. that is the most inspirational song ever.



they are by far my favorite band right now.

im building the kaoss pad guitar this week. ordered everything, should come tomorrow. and im learning the organ parts in invincible and im going to record a cover. ill put it up when im done. the solo is fuckin sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. sorry for the curse.

i think they are the most talented big group out there right now. Lyrics are amazing, Guitars are unique-, bass is fucking ridiculous, drums are great, and piano is mind blowing. everything about them is great. and matt bellamy was voted sexiest man in rock for 03-04 i think? so yeah. beat that

Yes, it seems many Pumpkins fans are Muse fans. And Black Holes and Revelations is their worst album to date, so I wouldn't judge them on that. Definitely listen to Absolution. My favorite song off of that album is Hysteria, but maybe that's just because I play bass.

That's pretty cool for a band to put all their music up on their website.

In all honesty, Muse will never reach the level that Radiohead is at.
What I mean by this is that Thom Yorke could record himself shaving a hamster and it would go platinum 14x.

Also, I love black holes and revelations. Assassin bring the rock jellybelly style, and Starlight is super poppy, yet easy to love. City of Delusion is like Yanni becoming a rockstar, and knights of cydonia is great.

Though stockholm syndrome is super tops. Live it's amazing. I still haven't been able to get into the album Showbiz.
