Okay, I heard their new song today and I thought, wow, this sounds exactly like every other one of their songs. Good thing the pumpkins evolve their sound over time because if they did the same formulaic songs over and over again like staind, i'd be pissed.

I kind of hate them, but at the same time I always find myself singing along to them.
It sucks how they're endorsed by Limp Bizkit/Fred Durst.

staind, don't think i have heard of them, but then again i don't listen to the regular radio. i listen to my satalite radio, and then only classic rock stations and the alternative station, that only plays 90's stuff.
but yes ddc i agree, i really enjoy how sp evolves thier sound with each album. most artists, and i am using the term very loosly, don't and why even buy the cd? it will just sound like the one before, and if you already have that one, just listen to it again. problem solved and money saved.

That's probably their most famous song.
Their singles are usually pretty catchy, the greatest hits has mostly good songs. They're a pretty standard rock band though, like the Foo Fighters and such.

Some of Staind's singles are samey, yes. I've never really liked the Foo Fighters - they have a few alright songs though. One of the most over-rated bands around today though in my opinion.

i enjoyed staind's break the cycle cd and some songs on 14 shades of grey but kinda lost track off them there an okay band.
