Excelent Program.
Ive watched all of series 1 on Sci Fi channel and Im now watching it again on BBC2...picking up a few things I missed first time round  !
This is the only program I actualy watch other than random flicking music, news and discovery channels. (I think I average about 1 hour TV a day at the most)

I like how they are getting stuck straight into the action this time round. I like the new "Speedster" girl very funny the way she interacted with Hiro.... before laying him out cold....LOL
I think they should have dumped Niki/Jessica/Tracy. She never really seemed that interesting in the scheme of things and her story lines always seemed like program filler material compared to the other characters.

Yes Nemesis is awesome 
yeah that Jessica/Nikki/Tracy/ whoever she'll be next is my least favorite. A bit confusing, but I am sure there will be more to the mystery of her at some point..

One - I refuse to accept that Sylar is a Petrelli. That's too easy! I mean, is EVERYONE on the darn show a Petrelli? Seriously!
Two - Matt being stuck in Africa on his spirit quest. They already tried marooning one character (Hiro) last season, and it felt so removed from the rest of the series.
Three - There was so much potential in the "Peter's stuck in Jesse's body" story line, but they killed it already!
BUT I am loving Sylar teaming with HRG and them secretly plotting to kill each other. And it's nice that Mohinder finally got a power.

I want to know what happens to Claire, the online novels hint around her parents getting killed.
The other thing I am still trying to understand is why Peter would need Gabriel's power, he can have any power he wants, just by standing by the person. Why would he need to know how things work?
I also think all the people we know from the first season were givin the shot that gave them abilites, from their parents, hiro's dad - petrelli mom - the gold guy - tracey's doctor - parkmans dad, basically all who were in that picture that were targeted for death by adam. Oh and why is adam the key -as petrelli mom states to hiro. I have so many questions.

I've never read the online novels. How accurate have they been in predicting the TV eps?
Good point on Peter. I really don't have a good speculation on that.
I would have to disagree with you on the shot thing, though. I think a lot of the "Heroic families" let's call them share powers through heredity and DNA, not the shot. I would think Hiro, Elle, Claire, Peter, Nathan, Parkman, Molly and Michah all obtained their powers through DNA. But Tracey, Barbara and Nikki were definitely experimented on. I'd say Sylar, too (I STILL don't think he's really Angela's son).
The only guess about why Adam is the key is because he's possibly the first Petrelli in the family lineage who had a power. (Yeah, I think he's a Petrelli.)

There is over 100 comic novels on the site now, they are pretty cool, some of them extend on the show story line.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if the people in the picture, all the parents, had abilities and they wanted their kids to as well so they used the formula, since hiro's dad had one half of the formula - kind of a stretch I know. It does make more sense about the genetics aspect - DNA being passed to kids.
Yeah I think sylar is being manipulated by angela, not really a petrelli family member, Does she have the power of future site? or the power of persuasion.
Adam may be the one who came up with the formula, there is also a graphic novel about his life and wives over the past 200+ years.
I can't wait for next monday now. |
