I was just wondering what people's opinions are on which are the best Pumpkins bootlegs out there. I have a few shows from each tour, and most of them are pretty good quality, but people here seem to have a lot more knowledge of Pumpkins' bootlegs than me, so what do ye think are the best?

Three feet high was a really good one, allong with the real time sessions then proberbly mashed potatoes. I think Siamese Dream era would have to be my fave.

this is a VERY difficult matter. aside from the biggest issue, being opinion, you have technical factors. overall sound quality (SBD, AUD, FM), execution of the songs, how many songs, rare song performances, perhaps even funny banter.
recently, i've been trying to come up with what i'd consider the BEST for each year of the bands career. 1988 is easy, since only two shows sound good. there's that avalon show with the drum machine, making it rare, plus the appearance of songs that were never heard from again. but the metro show on october 5th, the one they gave away at the last show, is king. it totally captures their spirit, the songs are strong, the sound is good...
you know, i think this is way more than you were asking. i'm sorry.
one of the best and easiest to find? EXIT MELLON COLLIE, june 28 1997. from the festival stop in denmark, you get wbftt, eye, transformer, teitbite, by starlight, even a tease of we only come out at night!

It's a 1995 Amsterdam show with very good sound quality and a great selection of songs.
