Ok, if you haven't looked at Jimmypop97's youtube videos from the 6/24 show, DO IT! Watch all three parts of Gossamer. I think it's the best version they have played!!!! It's right up there with the Rock Am Ring version.
Does anyone else think that this Ashville version sounds more structured than the ones in Europe? I think that if the studio version of Gossamer sounds like any of the ways they've played it live, it would be like this one. The last 8 minutes or so seemed much more organized. I really love the echo effects Billy puts on his voice towards the end, and I think that's how it's supposed to be. Plus, Billy doesn't really add one of his rants to it.

But anyways, I'm rambling. Check out those videos if you want to see them Kick Ass!! They look so relaxed! They all seem to be having a blast!


That's another reason I think they played Europe first. They wanted the songs to be more polished for when they hit America.

I can't believe the mp3's of the entire first show aren't floating around by now.

Yeah, it's almost like the theory of "If you want to stop something, give it
away freely". In other words, in allowing and even encouraging people to
record their shows, it's almost like everyone assumed everyone else was do it. And so, it never got done. Of course, there are a few exceptions, such as jimmypop97 who put forth all that time to post all those youtube vids, but you'd think there would be a LOT more of that kind of stuff available by now.
Honestly, im just bummed that i can't get into dimeadozen! : )

that 6/23 show is the ultimate, especially with the sound quality. after hearing that I can definitely say Billy's voice has greatly improved.

Got some good news and some slightly bad news. I went to last nights show, and also got it on video in it's entirety.

I also talked to one of the pro audio guys, and am going to redo the audio on both my videos with his audio file. The audio from last nights show was not as bad on my camera though because I used a piece of cloth to muffle it, but I am sure the guys audio will be way better.

For the bad news... I go to the beach this Saturday for the week of the 4th, so I won't have time to do this until I get back.

I also got a short clip of Billy outside talking in the middle of a crowd, but the battery stated going dead, so it got cut off.

I need to know a good (FREE) program to use to redub the audio with. Ideas are definitely needed and appreciated!

Also, the download speed at Megaupload blows. I'm getting like 4KB/s. Can anyone here post another link. I live in LA so maybe that's the problem and the server is on the other side of the country. So can anyone help me or make a torrent for these mp3s?
