I just received my copy of Zeitgeist and noticed NO GOSSAMER!!!Can anyone elaborate? I thought this was a new song. If it is, any idea where a studio version might pop up?

It is new. They wrote many new songs... not all make it on a CD. It's been known for a while now that it wouldn't appear on any version on the album.

I figured out not all songs make in on cd's when I bought "judas O & freinds/ememies" and realized they left all the best tracks off of Machina!

Did he REALLY say that? That would be pretty awesome, as long as the recording will be of HIGH QUALITY.
I think this song is meant to play live only, it's just fantastic!

What is the best version of Gossamer so far? Every version is a little different and every recording has different quality. I'm trying to find the best one for my iPod.

I don't see this as a studio song. part of its appeal is the improved parts that change from night to night, and a stuido recording would just take that element away completely.
and for the record, I don't like the rock AM ring version as much. 3 guitars is too many...they get in each others' way.
