I got a package in the mail last week from the nice people at Guitar Center, with 3 copies of Fresh Cuts in it. I was actually surprised that #1. they kept their promise and mailed me a copy and #2. gave me more than one. That was really cool of them. Thanks GC!

After being suffocated by the blandness of Zeitgeist, Superchrist is definitely a breath of fresh air. Not a big "HYYYUUUUUHHHH!!!!.... ahhhhhhhhhhhh" kind though, sort of like one where you're for some reason drowning, and all you can manage is short gulps of air when your mouth happens to be above the surface.

It reminds me of the classic Pumpkins, the sound that got me into them into the first place. Basically, what I'm saying is, is that Billy is definitely taking a step in the right direction, and although the actual structure of the song was a bit childish, and FAMILIAR (United States, anyone? How about Silverfuck?) the actual sound of it seems to be a glimmer of light at the end of the dreary Zeitgeist tunnel.

It is a step in the right direction, I feel that the next new material is going to be very fresh after this. American Gothic and this song seem so much better than 90% of anything from Zeitgeist.

the song is ok. its not there best work, but i don't totally mind it. i listen to it occasionally. i just wish i could figure what he is saying.

i still think the video is among there worst though.

It IS their worst. But let's not let that taint the song.

yes, it IS there worst by far. (still on the caps i see )

the video maybe tainted it at first some- i think it is a good song now. i just think they have better instrumental pieces. i like the song though. i like sonic type stuff.
