Cabin: when they showed the cabin a few episodes ago there was a profile sitting in the chair....if you freeze frame it, it looks like Jacks father

Flash forward and flashbacks : Did Oceanic stage a plane crash and then find it? The helicopter pilot says that the picture of the Oceanic Pilot is incorrect because there is no wedding ring? Staged crash?

Polar Bear in Tunisia? How did a Darma bear end up here?

Though it's possible, I totally doubt that it was Ben in the casket. Also, Alex is still his "daughter", no matter how you slice it.

In the cabin, sitting in the chair- yes, it's Christian Sheppard, Jack's dad.

It's unknown wether or not it's Oceanic in of themselves, but a plane was planted and then "found", which is why the Oceanic 6 (There are 7, actually, not including Ben- Trust me) are such a shocking thing.

Dharma has reasearch facilities all over the world. The Hanso Foundation is a global enterprise, and Widmore Corp. is closely tied, etc. etc. so that's your polar bear explanation- they don't put all their eggs in one basket.

Ok, so this last ep, what do you think drove Sayid to be a hitman for Ben? Why would Ben (aka the island's BFF) ever leave the island? And who the heck is Ben's spy on the boat?

I putting this out there- Ben is extremely capable. He has real world connections that most people would assosiate with the likes of FBI, CIA, MI6, etc. Ben is also filthy rich, and has connections to Hanso, Widmore, etc. I like that you call him "the island's BFF", because it's mostly true- he loves the fuck out of the place, knows his place there and role is undeniable, and is willing to do anything to protect it, and his control in it. I don't think it's malicious, either; he's forced to act as moral as a hurricane for his people, for their purpose. As far as Sayid's role, and why he's in bed with Benjamin- it's impossible to tell right now what drove the two to partnership, but it's certain that 1) beside the fact that Sayid has a skill for violence, he's not just doing a job- he's a soldier to the cause for which he now fights, and 2) the bracelet Naomi had, the bracelet the blonde Elsa had, are one in the same, and we haven't seen the last one of those.



Also, while I am not a homosexual and cannot directly comment on Mr. Faraday's nerd based aesthetics, I do offer this:

Yes, I too love Dan in the most heterosexual way possible.

I think it could be Locke in the casket but then again I dont think he would want to leave the island.

I think Siyid is protecting the 'other 5' memebers of the oceanic 6 (he was one) one has died (that is who is in the casket) and Ben is giving him the names of people responsible so he can track them down and kill them.

I don't know... we don't know that the death has happened yet. The flashforwards aren't necessarily all on the same time line. Remember the flashforward at the end of last season? That was definitely ahead of what we're seeing now. Jack had a beard, and he was going off the deep end. So far this season, he's fairly sane, and is just starting to show some peach fuzz.

i think sawyer is in the coffin- no one goes to his funeral,
also, he says he has nothing back home, and no one except jack goes, showing that this person has no family, friends, or anyone. maybe something bad happens between him and kate? i dont know, its probably stupid, but i just think that, and im gonna keep saying that.

I can't remember that episode at all for some reason :/
I've seen them all, but I guess the thought of Jack going to someone's funeral just didn't amaze me enough to remember it.
And now, by the reacions of everyone, I guess it's something important.
