He's got several projects, but his soul definitly lives in Porcupine Tree! I saw them live in Fall'07 and it was so intense, that this show made him the only musician who can mess up with Billy Corgan (in my opinion, of course).

I'd definitely say one of the nicest, most down-to-earth and determined musicians out there is Andrew McMahon of Jack's Mannequin and Something Corporate. The guy is a piano rock wiz, has a gorgeous voice and pens brilliant lyrics. And he also overcame acute lymphoma at the age of 22.

I had the honor of interviewing him twice (once before SoCo hit it big, and once just before his bone marrow transplant in 2005.) And he's just incredible. He loves his fans, he loves life, he loves bringing life to others (he started a children's cancer charity upon being diagnosed himself) and ... he's pretty attractive, too.

I've met him 4 times and each time, he's just the most electric, cheerful person around. A very admirable gent indeed.

he's probably the awesomest person in the world. he's such a shy person he had to write about characters rather than himself. his solo project is called "the prizefighter inferno" and only released one album. his vocals on the second stage turbine blade are amazing, and all his guitar solos are so badass (the solo on "ten speed" especially) he does behind the head solos, violin bow solos, vocals into guitar pickup solos, guitar shooting, and various guitar tricks. no more jumping though lol

Rivers Cuomo is pretty cool. Right now he's doing a youtube collaboration with fans to write a song. He also released a bunch of his home demos which i think it pretty cool. He also never mixes politics and music which i really, really like and he can shred if he wants to. so yeah, cool/weird guy. In fact, all the guys in Weezer are pretty cool. Especially Pat! yay.
