I agree. And I agree with Superchrist that Zeitgeist should have been put on after (or maybe right before) Pomp.

The only bit I'd change, is that the special edition should be released *at the same time* as the original version.
It pisses me off that it seems to be becoming a habit that a standard version of an album is released - which obviously all the fans rush out to buy - and then later a special edition comes out and the big fans then have to fork out again. It just seems to be a scheme designed specifically to rip off diehard fans. And was taken to the extreme with the multiple releases of Zeitgeist.

yeah, that's what i meant. they shoulda released the red and sliver versions at the same time, and just those two.

As it is, I only bought 2. The booklet version and the silver one. Annoyingly that means I still don't have Zeitgeist (the track) on CD, but never mind.

I bought 4: the standard red version, the blue iTunes version ( I only got it because I wanted the presale code and "Stellar" ), the silver version, and then the viynl, which I will probably never see, so I wasted $25.

I just bought the regular red one and the silver version. I still might buy the book. Sometimes it is sold seperately on ebay. I also bought the European 3-track singles for Thats the Way My Love Is and Tarantula, just to get all of the songs.

I only have the regular red version, and I downloaded the b-sides as they came out

Although I would like to have a CD version, like the silver one, because the downloaded one are pretty average quality.. especially Death from Above and Zeitgeist.

I'm scared to get a refund, because it would be my luck as soon as I got it, the Zeitgeist viynl would get released. haha

well seeing as all the fun of a Pre-orders now well and truely gone you might as well cancel and get the refund. If the vinly does become available then re-order.

i agree with pierowmaniac. plus if this seller is that way you would probably be better off getting it from someone else.

My friend works at Hot Topic as a manager and she said Zeitgeist is suppose to come out on vinyl, I think she meant "That's The Way" on 7"

Yeah, I wasn't aware the Zeitgeist was coming out on vinyl. I just thought it was the singles that came as a 7". I guess almost everything else album-ise has had a vinyl version, but with all of the CD versions I figured they weren't doing that with this one.
