I think you better take a look at mine again.
An Ultimate Machina album that has In My Body but not SIYL can't be taken seriously.
whoa, he does need stand inside your love but in my body is awesome. it's better than the crying tree of mercury and blue skies bring tears, at least.

Stand Inside Your Love is the best Machina-era song, IMO. Definitely essential. But it's a matter of taste, I guess.

"The Crying Tree of Mercury" shouldn't have been on the album...

Probably because of the funny steel-drum effect.
I think that Lucky 13, Stand Inside Your Love, This Time, Slow Dawn, With Every Light, Go, Home and Age of Innocence are the best Machina Era songs. Which is pretty much my Ultimate Machina.
The others in my list aren't filler or anything, I think they are part of the flow and mood of the list.
I love the overall cruiseyness of my list, and the flow of it.

Machina is probably my favorite era of the band.
...and Home is the greatest song Billy has every written, lyrically and musically.

I'll have to go back and take another look at it, but it looked like that one.

It has no discernible tune, the pedal effects are bordering on laughable. The song is a drag, generally.

exactly. i just feel that once billy knew they weren't going to do a double album, he should've put a ton of other songs on machina like lmgtwty, cash car star, dross, etc. (So many other choice, too many to name)

Surely just by which songs they personally prefer that fit with the flow of the album, in their opinion.

Of course, some members would have more influence of the list than others. | | | | |
