I called in to wish everyone a Happy Smashing Pumpkins day on our local radio station 104.9 the X and they didnt know a thing about it, so I filled them in all about the mayor, and Billy and the concert and Act IV and Make-a-Wish. And then they put my phone call on air and then played Tarantula after!
YaY!

Here is Billy there
BC: I just talked to James today. He said to say hi.
Somehow I seriously doubt that.
Come on, let us dream about it!!! It'd be great if they were talking again. I know he'll never be a member again, but what if he played as a special guest for a couple shows down the line?

Well then again, it might not that be inconceivable, considering I imagine they would have to do converse because of the Greatest Hits CD and DVD preparation.
I can understand why the dj have never heard of it, because it's the fans that care about SP Day, and not random people. Except maybe the charities that have benefited as a result of it, especially back in 1998.
On a side note, just before July 7th ended here, Steven and I reposted the Act IV 2001 radio documentary onto the Act IV site ( http://www.act4.net ). It's the first time in years that we have done so. We had taken it down to include it in the Act IV 2002 DVD set previously.

what if he was a guest in the 20th anniversary shows? him and darcy and madm!
Most of the plausible guests I can think of would be drummers lol:
-Kerry Brown (D'arcy's ex-husband, but he is still friends with the band as they rehearsed at his house for Zeitgeist or something like that).
-Kenny Aronoff
-Matt Walker
