Personally I like to think that there isn't a single bad SP song. ever. But I went through a stage where I wasn't keen on BWBW, 1979 and Tonight, Tonight because they were singles and other people I know seemed to know them without knowing who SP were.

I initially wasn't all that keen on TTW(MLI) but it's really growing on me at the moment.

I haven't heard many covers of SP songs. Amy Lee's Zero was terrible. The only other one I can think of is Killradio's cover of Bodies which was actually very good - and their lead singer sings it with ferocity, something Billy wouldn't be able (or willing) to do now.

Well, in my opinion Perfect is the most weak classsic pumpkins song...it's OK in the sequence of Adore, but really, really lame...

I agree. I've never been a fan of Perfect very much.

yeah, i'm not a big Perfect fan either. i agree with Don- its ok on the album, but kind of lame otherwise.

i'm sad to admit though, it took me a moment to figure out what TTW (MLI) stood for in Micky C's post. awww, the shame of a pumpkin fan. haha

out of the popular singles(which this thread is for) that came out, the single song that i never really cared for was bullet with butterfly wings. when i go to see a show i dont want to here the same songs that are on the radio everyday for the past ten years. i hated when everyone was happy when they played it. it made my stomach turn.

galapogos is under rated. behold! the night mare and for martha are probably my favorites for being such beautiful songs lyrically and musically. the lyrics in This Time are genius, it almost makes me cry as for the machina and machina II albums are under rated.

I don't like the song Take me Down. I always skip it. I have listened to it 3 times, I just can't do it.

i agree about Take Me Down. i've tried to give it a chance, but i can't listen to it either.

I don't mind Take Me Down, I actually think it's one of James' better songs. But I know it's quite different, so I'm not surprised that some don't like it. haha

i like a couple of his songs, just not that one. it is one of his better ones though i suppose.

and actually i'm listening to A Night Like This right now so i don't hate all James.

I don't know to me his voice just doesn't sound good....he should sing lullabies to children or something..lol

There isn't a single bad song by the Pumpkins? What about "Towers of Rabble"? "Jesus Loves His Babies"? "Because You Are"? I mean I like most of what SP has recorded, but there are just some songs I can't stand. I find it hard to believe there isn't a single song, even one early demo out of the hundreds of songs they have recorded that you dislike.

Bullet with Butterfly Wings is a song that I've never not liked.

I probably first heard it properly when I was listening to my friend's iPod, and I had a squizz at SP, and there was BWBW. I played it, and instantly thought "Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, THIS song!!"

1st I must say the Billy dancing avatar is the greatest!
Stumbeline is one of those songs I can skip thru..due to someone who drives me crazy only likes that song by SP-I don't understand why?lol
