Well the reason I have heard so many was out of necessity for Act IV projects. But I was trying to put some perspective on things, that you shouldn't let a bad cover taint your view of a great song.

I've only heard a few covers myself..It's hard to listen to an SP song from some other band, I guess if you got a beer in ya it's tolerable...I guess it makes us appreciate SP more when you get to listen to them again

Oh, I forgot about Untitled. Not really a classic I guess, but it was a single. It's a pretty horrible pop song, and I'm glad SP broke up for 7 years if that's the way they would have been heading otherwise.

I don't totally hate Untitled, but I feel it is one of the Pumpkin's weaker efforts.
I also don't mind Zwan, but I saw (or heard) nothing special about them.

A lot of the classic songs I used to like but just got sick of hearing, especially the way some people show up at a show and just keep yelling all night for "Today" or "Cherub Rock".
There are 9 million other songs, that song has been played 9 million times on the radio, and THAT'S the song you're dying to hear them play?

There are a few Pumpkins songs I can't stand, but not that I think are considered classics.
There are some classics that I can't figure out why other people get so excited by them, like "Hummer". It's a nice song, but I can't figure out why people get so worked up about it.

Me either, "Hummer" isn't anything special.

How many songs could make you feel so happy when you're singing along to "Life's a bummer, when you're a hummer"?

Hummer's a very good song, but for me it's overshadowed by better songs on Siamese Dream.

I think it's just as good, if not then better than every other track on SD.

I'm not going to go as far as saying I hate some Pumpkins songs, but there are some that I just couldn't get into, or at least not as much as other fans. And there are some that have taken me a while to warm up to.
Songs like, That's The Way, Perfect and Try, Try, Try took me a while to get into, and even now I really wouldn't consider any of them as a favourite of mine by any means.

I have to confess, I never really got into Hummer either. Not that it's a bad song, I just don't fully dig it for some reason I can't explain.

I don't have anything against Hummer, it is a good song, but I usually just have to be in a certain mood to enjoy it.

I have never liked 1979 much, I don't know why. Disarm, well it had the same problem.. Though I like it now. Tonight, Tonight, I have no idea why this, but maybe it's because of that, that it is one of the only songs that are played here in these channels here. I'm just sick of it, just like from 1979 and some other MCIS songs.
