But if you re-read my post you'll see I asked for anyone to conjure up a better SUPERHERO movie villian. If we're talking about any villian, then it gets complicated. But when you're looking at it through the superhero movie window, he's nearly unmatched. Darth Vader is of course in his own category, and to be honest I've never seen The Incredibles, so I can't comment either way. Although the way you described him sounds a lot like Ledger's Joker, only the Joker wasn't animated.

I will agree with you somewhat on Bale's voice. While I didn't really notice it in the beginning, as the movie carried, it became a bit of an annoyance. I honestly thought he'd improve it (because it was a slight problem in Begins), but I guess he's found what he wants. And yes I enjoyed Batman Begins as well, and there's no denying the brilliance of Sir Liam Neeson. Although I think TDK is the clear favorite of the two, personally.

the joker is much better than him. He had Better and funnier lines(in a dark creepy way- his 'magic trick was genius), he blew up a hospital, which he seemed to enjoy (and i think its worse than killing the incredible kids), he Killed his henchmen, and he didnt want the money, he just wanted to create chaos....so hes better!

i don't think maggie gylanhaal is that great of an actress, so i am not suprised.

i want to see the terminator, christian bale is an amazing actor. plus his good looks don't hurt a bit.

she was better than katie holmes in batman begins.

i am pretty sure katie is a robot now, so that is maybe why. she isn't a great actress either, at least off of the creek.

yeah, katie is prettier. maggie not so much.

Rachel McAdams was also in the running for that same role in TDK. I would've much rather had her.

I, for one, love Maggie Gyllenhaal. ... Maybe not so much as Rachael Dawes, though. Rachael McAdams would've been great! And, hey, "Red Eye" reunion between her and Cillian Murphy!

I like Maggie Gyllenhaal, but you can tell she does a lot of indy films because she was trying to make Rachel all quirky and intelligent and it just didnt work.

My girlfriend and I are going to see it tomorrow.

she was by far one of the weaker characters in the movie.

i liked maggie in stranger than fiction, one of the few (one) will ferrel movies i like!

i wanted to see that movie. it looked good. i always forget what movies i want to go and see.
