However, sometimes a very important (and entertaining) part of their culture has oft been overlooked in the ages since then...the women. Poets were renowned on par with the adventurers, their wit and musical ability unsurpassed. | I hope Jimmy's ok and it's nothing some rest won't fix, but I can't help being extremely upset. the way the whole thing was handled was shitty for us. I took 3 days off work, put in for it back in Aug because I work for shitty fucking wal mart and you can never get fucking time off. I was so happy, that's what I'd been looking forward to for months, it's all I talked about. I'd been a die hard fan since 1991 and I'd never had a chance to see them. I bought a cute skirt outfit that looked like Billy (white and black stripes) and we drove 6 hours from the backwoods hills of Virginia (close to the TN line) to get there. | Yeahhh I'm breakin' it in right. Ok, first blog. What shall I talk about? Well since this is a Smashing Pumpkins site let's talk about my loooooooong-term love of all things Billy. I've been so fucking into SP since ohh...1991 or so. Yeah. Before a lot of you were born, probably lmao. I saw a video on this crappy late night video show that came on TBS cause I lived out in the boondocks in the middle of BFE (that's BumFuck, Egypt, btw) and I couldn't get any MTV or VH1. I had it on record cause I was doin other stuff as well, in the hopes of catching something remotely cool, when this video started up with this psychedelic riff.
