The Glass and the Ghost Children demo is so damn cool. The extent of Billy's songwriting genius really shows clearly in his acoutic demos. In this simple acoustic song, you can hear Billy playing every element that appears in the finished studio version of the song. All the little guitar bits that make this song, just about every Pumpkins song so dynamic. It's amazing how much of a song Billy is able to envision before he even sets foot in the studio. The song is almost complete as a demo!

Touché, I'm glad someone else sees them not just for their concepts and sad ways... they're the most beautifully ordained band of our time.

You're aware, I hope, that copyright protection attaches from the moment expression is fixed in a tangible medium, and it continues well beyond the death of the author... it does not end when the expression is no longer being copied by the copyright owner.

Got these tracks originally on a bootleg and remember reading that 'Here I Am' was a cover of a Gary Numan song... although having listened now to nearly all of Numan's back catalogue (a fairly big Corgan influence)it's not on any of his albums. Anyone Corganites or Numanoids know anything about this?
