it's a recording of the actual feed into the venue's sound system, not just say, a recording from the crowd. that's why it's in stereo and it's mixed well.

For the record, the scanned back panel of the jewel case has the 5/13 and 5/24 shows swapped - the single-asterisk songs should be 5/24 and the triple-asterisk songs are really 5/13.
