The more I think about it the more I realize that the new sing;e "Tarantula" sound like a Queens on the Stone Age song. I wonder... was Billy meaning to overdo hos sound? Was it his intention to make the music so dramatic? In my humble opinion, I think he might have tried too hard on making a bang and totally over shot the mark. But alas. It is SP and I still love the song.

I do think he went a little too "happy" with the chorus melody.

The music fits the 'tarantula' name. It sounds badass. But the chorus melody doesn't. It sounds to happy and poppy. similar to a Zwan song. Like 'we're off to see the wizard...'

i hear the roy thomas baker coming out. queens of the stone age? i don't know about that, but it is the same producer that did QUEEN and THE CARS..
