A year ago, forum members started a series of survivor games to choose the best song from every major release of The Smashing Pumpkins. As the months went by, the community meticulously voted up and voted down songs from Gish to Zeitgeist until thirteen songs were chosen. The best song as currently decided by ThePumpkins.net community are:
 
Rhinoceros / Mayonaise / Starla / Porcelina Of The Vast Oceans / Thru The Eyes Of Ruby / X.Y.U. / Ugly / The Aeroplane Flies High / The End Is The Beginning Is The End / For Martha / Stand Inside Your Love / Lucky 13 / Stellar

And now the time comes to vote for the best of the best. So head over to the Ultimate Survivor thread to cast your votes (once per day). Unfortunately, all these songs won't fit on a standard CD, so if anyone wants to burn a ThePumpkins.net Greatest Hits CD, they may have to vote one song out. ;)

And Starla should be the second song, not the third. Sure, it was on PI but it was officially release on the I Am One single, before SD was conceived.

Yeah, but being a part of "ThePumpkins.net Survivor" fot more than 1 year, I would love to have that extra CD on my collection!

I like that tracklist a lot. I would just switch up some of the MCIS songs ("To Forgive," "Galapagos," and "Bodies" instead of the three above) and put on "Eye" instead of "The End is the Beginning is the End."
